This class will take an active look at how we are using footwork in competition today, and what we can do to improve our performance in the ring. The aim is to move away from static and linear footwork and more towards dynamic, a-linear and varied footwork. This class is meant to be applicable for all weapon sets, but I will be instructing with a longsword for the sake of simplicity. We will be doing both solo and partner drills, often at high intensity, so bring lots of water, good training clothes and energy to spare.
Equipment requirement: mask, gloves suitable for sparring, throat protection, sword of choice
